On September 29 Base4NFDI & DMP4NFDI are running the workshop “What’s in It for Me? DMPs Researchers actually want” from 14:00 to 16:00 at the University of Cologne. The workshop takes place as a satellite event of the Data Stewardship goes Germany Community Meeting.

DMP4NFDI organized a Hackathon for Software Management Plans (SMPs). Participants discussed the importance and relevance of previously identified SMP questions to create a first draft of a NFDI SMP template.

DMP4NFDI conducted the workshop “RDMO for Editors: Building Interoperable Catalogs with the NFDI DMP Template” at FDM-Werkstatt 2026.

At the deRSE26 Conference, DMP4NFDI presented a comparative analysis of five Software Management Plans (SMPs), highlighting their commonalities and differences.

DMP4NFDI presented the poster ‘From Templates to Interoperability with the NFDI DMP Template Framework’ at the RDA Germany Conference 2026.

DMP4NFDI demonstrated at the Base4NFDI Demo Session how NFDI consortia can set up a DMP or SMP service.

DMP4NFDI contributed to the Love Data Week 2026 by providing best practices for creating interoperable RDMO catalogs.
