FAIRagro–DMP4NFDI Workshop Report: "RDMO in Practice: Building Data Management Plans for Agricultural Research"

Abstract

Report on the hands-on workshop “RDMO in Practice: Building Data Management Plans for Agricultural Research” conducted by the NFDI Consortium FAIRagro with the support of the Basic Service DMP4NFDI on 17–18 June 2026. The workshop focused on the open-source tool Research Data Management Organizer (RDMO) and the discipline-specific Data Management Plan (DMP) template developed by FAIRagro. The workshop concept was developed during the incubator project with DMP4NFDI, which ran from February to June 2026. This project focused on community outreach to promote the DMP service offered by FAIRagro.
